Panic attacks when smoking

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Akazukin, Nov 30, 2011.

  1. Ok, so I've been smoking for around 3-4 years now, usually 4-5 times a week, and about 3 months ago I started to have major panic attacks when I smoked. Bad enough to where I can't be around people whatsoever when I'm high anymore. So I've been trying different things, like quitting for a few weeks, smoking when I'm tired or when I'm hyper, different types of weed, but nothing helps. I started going to doctors for depression/anxiety last year and have been on a lot of different pills, and smoking just seemed to make me worse and worse since then. Never as bad as it's been now though, and I'm only on remeron and clonopin atm. Anyone have any advice on how to get rid of this crap?
  2. Well, It seems that the medication is effecting you when you toke.

stop smoking or stop taking that medication.
  3. Try smoking a lower dose. I use to get paic attacks too, but that happened because i smoked too much weed in an uncomfortable environment.
  4. weed speeds up yur heat rate and makes u feel paranoid, add that onto those meds and you got yurself a recipe for disaster.
  5. this.

  6. Tried that before, but 2 hits of reggies and I was already feeling it:(

And, yeah I kinda figured I was gonna have to quit one of em. I was hoping there was some way around it though. Guess I'm gonna have to go without weed for awhile x.x
  7. Almost everyone will sketch out sometimes from smokin weed but its probably the pills you take, then the weed makes it worse. Stop doing on of the two.
  8. get of the pharma poison.Take a multi, eat healthy, exercise, etc.. Try GNC multi..
  9. change ur diet. find a holistic nutritionist near you and make an appointment. it is unnecessary to take anxiety pills when most of the time a simple change of diet could fix all ur issues. i had terrible anxiety and couldn't figure out why a few years ago. i tried many pills,( all of them seemed to make me a zombie) finally i was recommended to a holistic nutritionist who realized i had many food allergies i did not know about and after cutting those things from my diet (dairy, wheat) i have been feeling amazing.
