Financial Meltdown Was 'Avoidable,' Crisis Panel Finds
I wonder how much it cost to have them figure that out.
I mean... thafuck?
It's not rocket surgery.
LOL "It said regulators failed to adequately police financial markets,"
- A precursor to a more adequately policed financial market? When will they get the picture?
edit: Adequate policing would be no policing at all.
Instead of giving the banks absolute power and then trying to regulate that, why don't we just not give them absolute power?
It's funny, the argument for giving them absolute power was to prevent crises, and now the argument for limiting their power is to prevent crises.
Clearly the solution to not enough policing, is to add more policing and regulation.
(Notice the trend with Government, the solution is always more regulation and 'policing' to cover up their own inadequcies)
While still hyperpartisan, a huffposter mentioning the feds cupability = progress.
