Hello everyone Ill be attempting my first stealth grow soon and had a question on my strain. Pakistan ryder is an autoflower so I am planning on leaving my lights on for 20/4 the whole time. It'll be powered by a homemade cfl fixture and my question is with an auto do I still need to change my lights from 6500k to 2700k at flower time or do i just make a mixed spectrum fixture and run that the whole time?
Hi man you can run them 24/0 or20/4 it only show on your e-bill. Mixed spectrum should be oK. Run mostly 2700k if you plan on running a mixed spectrum. I'm not a big fan of the idea of a fixture and cfl's. Cfl's need to be as close as possible without burning to maximize yield because of the low light intensity. It's best to surround the plant rather then try to attempt to use them like a HID though tons of people seem to do it.
