Packing a Bowl

It's not ground that fine, and will burn better

 

just pack a slight bigger nug over the bowl but not big enough to were it clogs..

 

You can buy pipe screens too, but beware the metal kind. I don't know how unhealthy it is, but I've burned through a few of them and I just don't like the idea of inhaling fumes from burning metal. I stopped using them once I realized I was burning through them.

Glass screens seem like a better idea, but I can't say I've ever used them. I pretty much just do what Twisted suggested and put a little nug over the hole and then put the ground up stuff on top of it. It's a nice little surprise getting a nice hit when you think your bowl is empty, too.

But definitely grind your bud or break it up very finely. It smokes a lot better, lasts longer, and generally gets a nice cherry going so you don't have to re-light it.

 

Yeah man it falls threw, thats why you pack the bowl over something to catch what falls out. You can get a cool looking tray from any headshop or use a pAPER plate

 

Yea, it makes the ganja burn more evenely. You get a all around better smoke .

 

for a screen, use a smell pebble to clog the hole. works a treat

never once have a smoked a nug.

i use a sharpstone grinder. then pack a bowl.

if you have a pipe. i would invest in a good disc diffused slide. or even an ice pinch slide.

for my hand pipes with push style bowls, i use a glass screen, they work wonders.

lol hilarious, if you had a lighter hot enough to melt a pebble it would melt the glass as well.

The average rock takes 1000 degrees Celsius to melt, that's over 1800 Fahrenheit haha.

Maybe it's best to avoid lighting your bowl with an Oxy Acetylene Torch haha.
