P.h for seedlings?

  1. What's up G.C? I feel like I should know this but what's the ideal ph for seedlings? I've googled it and still havnt found a solid answer. Ive been keeping it around 5.5 to 5.8 but two of my plants are losing thier green color and are Turing pale yellow. And one of my seedlings has burnt leave tips. Any help would be greatly appreciated..thanks!

  2. Seedlings germinated outside of their current containers should be watered with the exact same liquid used to germinate them; usually pure, pH 7 water. Once the single-bladed leaves are in, the pH can be changed to the standard ideal pH. This is often when the seedlings are transplanted from their inert seed-starter medium into larger containers of nutritious soil.

The ideal pH for soil is usually 6.5 and soilless is usually pH 5.9-6. 5.5 is too low for almost any grow.
