Owl City?

    Me..I like music I can sit down n smoke a blunt to..."Gettin High Music" I say...But my girl...idk whats up in that little head of hers...hannah montana, jonas brothers, gaga, anything mainstream...like most of the other girlies around here (sounds to me like she a highschooler as im typing this..shes not lol)...but, we've got connects at the nearest BIG place to put on a show in the capital of my state...so we can meet anyone we want that plays there and maybe smoke a blunt with them if they're cool..anyone know owl city? and if so..are they cool? She turned on 'fireflys' and im like...hmm i cant smoke a blunt to that.

    Just thought i'd ask ma city..anyone seen owl city? heard the tune? should i bring a blunt incase...:smoking:

    You might enjoy the band Man Man, By no means are they mainstream. But they would smoke with ya. got to smoke a bowl with em in cleveland

    I love this band its just chill as music IMO

    I can't stand the dude's voice, for the same reason that I can't stand dude's voice from Death Cab for Cutie. He just constantly sounds like he's whining.

    I can't stand them. They're mainstream shit. The guys voice is annoying and all their songs sound the same.

    I've got to kind of agree but it gets stuck in my head and I'm stuck mumbling it at work :[ think he'll get high?

    1st off nice sig junglism..

    now..the concert, i had a great time! :] owl city? yeah, no. :l The dudes wernt too friendly imo. But the band before was great, her name was Lights.

    But I did get to smoke up with the band at the next show like a month later :p

    Owl City isn't a band folks. It's one guy...making music out of his parents basement and blowing up the charts by hitting #1 on the electronica charts. His style isn't for everyone..but damn..he's making $$$ now.

    I personally hate the song, but this guy's drum cover is pretty decent...

    If you're going this route... Stick to Death Cab and/or Postal Service. Trust me.
