I overwatered my seedlings it's my 3rd grow I do it every time because I get used to how quick they drink up water in flower so when I start my next grow I always water too much and too frequent forgetting it needs to be really dry before watering next. So my question is the ones I overwatered in soil have been droopy for maybe 3-4 days I transplanted them into dry soil and they are not as deathly droopy but I'm still not happy witht how they look lower leaves yellowing a little etc, So do I wait until they perk back up before watering for sure? Will they perk back up before they need water? They are drying out a bit from the bigger pot transplant into dry soil.
One more thing....should I have sprayed the new soil right around where the root ball was? I left dry because they were already overwatered.
understand plants need as much air as water always, always water by weight lift THINK: to water or not droopy due to lack of air, and or transplant shock if you suspect the latter, keep them in low light until recovered lower leaves yellow? - feed them
Considering I already moved them from the solo cups should I risk agitating them again by removing the root ball and mixing perilite then putting back in fabric pot with new mix?
Is there a chance they might be ok in the ocean forest .....I read people saying they had no issues with it even with seedlings
potup is exactly that, simply invert the pot the falls out and insert into a prepped (60%ffof and 40%perlite)pot leave in the dark over night to avoid any transplant shock, extra perlite to remove any doubts good luck
Update....so I didn't move the plants out of the soil again it would have been too much transplanting in just a couple days so I just pulled away some damp soil from the root ball to form a trench around it for drying purposes........got up this AM and 2 out of 4 are perked right back up and the other 2 are halfway there. They will all make it for sure. Will also leave in the ocean forest as it's not doing any harm to them.
Glad I didn't listen to any of this advice. Plants all bounced back and are doing great in the ocean forest no nute burn whatsoever
