Anyone been playing the beta? This is the funnest game i played in awhile especially when u have some people to play with. Might be the first game i pay full price for in years.
Overwatch is consistently OK. There is nothing in the game that really makes me go "Wow." but there are also few scenarios that leave me with the "What the fuck.." type of feeling. I feel like they could of made this game more.. Polarizing.. In its current state, as i said, its consistently ok but nothing we haven't saw before and breaking zero new ground in terms of an already flooded genre.
Its really fun, it runs really well, and it has a good publisher and community behind it. I dont think it will become an esport as so many want to suggest.
Awesome game. Quit playing because I don't feel like gaining anymore progress to be reset. I'll be buying it shortly before release. It's this good in beta. Blizzard is a company known for heavily supporting and improving their products after launch. Can't wait to see what they decide to do with it in the future. My buddy is playing the beta on his PC. He says it's fun and reminds him of dota2, kinda. I'm still getting the game, downloaded the beta, hope I have time for it.
lol i dont understand the dota comparison at all except for the classes. Think u still have a full day to play
I feel like the game is TF2 that plays like Unreal Tournament. I love the physics and the general movement and aim. I'm really enjoying it overall though. Probably gonna pick it up around release. There needs to be more to the game though. Capture the flag would be rad, or at least something else to mix things up
Overwatch kind of reminded me of unreal tournament, which is my favorite 1st person shooter, too bad there's no new one (that I know of).
This, and it's fantastic. It feels a whole lot like UT(99) and it's being developed by both Epic and the community

Played the beta for a few days and I really enjoyed It, can't afford It right now but hopefully can buy It soon. I also wonder If there is any kind of storyline or is it supposed to be only player vs player which I can't imagine being the case but will find out when It's released.
I feel it's over hyped for what it is. There's alot of team based games that are out but it isn't providing anything new or eye catching, atleast from what I've watched. Don't get me wrong looks good but not what it's hyped up about. Doesn't look like it will do well with esports but it's beating league for viewers on Twitch so who knows. You are right, and that's how Blizz doez things. Not much innovation or experiment - just good quality. PS And TONS of hype
Game is worth $40 if you like arena-shooter type games (e.g. TF2, UT, etc.) Already got a solid 10 hours on the retail version of the game (probably another 10+ on closed beta). Blizz will inevitably fuck up any comp scene (as is tradition), but the game is fun right now.
