Overvaping?

Discussion in 'Experienced Cannabis Enthusiasts' started by fuzzykitty, Feb 2, 2010.

  1. Hi all,

I bought a silver surfer last summer in an effort to make my consumption of Mary Jane healthier. I can't get enough of this perfect device and neither can anyone who has ever vaped out of it (people callin offerin to throw down if we use it all the time :) ).

Anyway onto the point of the thread.

My friends and I all agree on somthing I brought up at our vaping sesh (happening now).

About the 4th time I session for the day (smoke or vape), I can not, for the love of life, get high off of a vape. Multiple bowls of keif (if you've ever vaped keif you will find this hard to believe), chronic, mixing bud, nothing seems to work.

I begin to feel numb (not really numb but only way to describe it), but have absolutely zero of the "high" or intoxication. It's more like I lose the ability to function.

But heres the kicker. The second I (or my agreeing homies) smoke, even in relatively small quantity, I go flyin to the clouds again.

SO could it be that vaping, for some reason, loses it's effectiveness against an extremely high individual?

Or am I being a copout by not vaping 5 bowls of keif (no srs)

Let the vapers of this city decide ( or share any opinions)

  2. What youre saying is very true.

But, I think your problem lies with how much you smoke, and what time of the day you smoke.

If I smoke a blunt as I wake up(Obviously get hella faded), then continue to smoke bowl after bowl to the face. I find myself not really getting high.
I also notice the body numbness, but no euphoria and it doesnt seem like im getting high, just like im getting normal.

But, if I wait until like 4pm or 5 pm to smoke I notice its easier to get high.

A friend of mine told me that its just overstimulation of CB1 and CB2 receptors.

    This could be bullshit though.

  3. I know exactly what you mean as well. I've ripped nothing but bong bowls all day, hit the pipe all day cause I was out, or just chilled with the vape all day as well. My tolerance was ridiculous and I couldn't seem to get my head in the clouds, only my body sinking into the couch.

If you hit 5 sessions on the vape in a few hours starting in the morning and don't get blazed, try doing the same thing just later the next day without previously smoking anything.

Good luck man. Also, try taking just a few days off. I'm in the middle of a 4 week break for a drug test and am so stoked for how easy it will be when I'm back. Plus it saves you some bud!

  4. Smoking later definetly does help. I usually don't smoke until 5 pm so Im not too bad.

I'm tellin you my friends burn up a quarter in blunts over a few days when it lasts me several weeks when using the vape.

    Save money buy a vape.

  5. Oh for sure, I invested in a V Tower Extreme last year and it hits like a truck. I also noticed I could sit in my apartment hitting it all day, open the windows for a bit, and visitors wouldn't be able to tell. Rip a few bong bowls and it can stick around for a LONG time. Plus the vape tastes so fresh!
