Overpriced Glass

Discussion in 'Smoking Accessories Q&A' started by SOPO, Dec 27, 2012.

  1. I've had dozens of pieces of glass throughout my "smoking career" and I've paid way too much for every one of them haha. Whether it may be the economy or just local glass prices, I feel as if I get ripped off every time i buy some new glass

So I was wondering where would be the best place to buy glass; online or at my local headshop? I'm looking for a one hitter or a new bowl but I can't justify paying the ridiculous prices I've paid in the past. You guys know any good sites or pieces that are reasonably priced?

    Thanks for the input,

    Peace and Pot :smoking:

  2. Check out etsy...you might be able to find some pieces in your range.

  3. there are alot of glass sellers that dont have websites,

    facebook is your friend.

also shops usually sell insanely high markup glass. but there is most likely a HEADY glass shop or something around you.

  4. You're on a headshop that sells glass :smoke:

Can't give you links to other online sites though, they're competitors to this headshop.

Just have a good idea of a piece you want, if your LHS sells them, and what they go for online. Use that as leverage to get a better price at your LHS.

  5. Haggle, haggle, haggle. Don't pay sticker at your LHS, man. Although I have gotten some pretty nice deals online.

  6. Go to blowers on etsy for good quality pieces at good prices

  7. When shopping online, your selection is basically unlimited. That would be the way to go if you don't know of a good headshop in your area
