500 watt halogen light for a 1-3 plant closet operation. Any good or may I need another type of light?
I suggest you do some research before buying lights. Halogen lights are no good. Your best choices are CFL and HID.
research is in order! halogen put out WWAY WAY too much heat and no usuable light spectrum for the plant. Cfls Hid and T-5's are the most viable way and some are into Led growing which is new promising but not quite where it should be.
