Overclocking My AMD

  1. I just overclocked my 6600GT, and now im want to OC my adm. I've read a couple guides now but does anyone have any step-by step guides for my system specs.


    Processor ( [939-pin] AMD® Athlon-64 3200+ CPU w/ Hyper Transport Technology )

    Motherboard ( Foxconn WinFast NF4K8MC-ERS nVidia nForce4 Chipset w/LAN, 5.1 Sound, IEEE-1394, USB 2.0 PCI-E

    Video Card ( [PCI-Express 16x] Nvidia Geforce 6600GT 128MB w/DVI + TV Out Video )

    Memory ( 1024 MB [512MB X2] DDR-400 PC3200 Memory Module Corsair XMS PRO w/ LED Lights )
     
  2. well idk what kind of cooling your using for your CPU, Most AMDs dont overclock that well but the 64 bits should overclock pretty well. ive even read that you can take a 3200 64 bit close to a 3500 specs with the stock heat sink

  3. Thats really almost all im looking for. Maybe up to 2.2 - 2.4
     
  4. make sure you get an aftermarket cooler for your card so it dont heat up too much IcBerq 4 is like 20 bucks and will save your card...

    check the BIOS and shit because my Asus board has a place ot tuen the frequencies and shit...
