  1. ive got these two plants in 2 gal. pots, there about 4 weeks old ffof, ive used bigbloom, a couple of times, at 1Tsp/gal, and kangaroots once .5 TSp/gal, im using purified water, there under 400watt mh, with one 125 warm flo, three 26watt cfl. at the time i took the pic i havnt watered in three to four days, cant remember for sure, after all im high. some of the oldest foliage have yellow tips and are sagging. the pots dont seem to be that heavy but i can tell there is water in the bottom i keep the ph in check as much as a newb can, i do have ph up and down, so is this lack of nutes or overwatering. any advice will be appreciated

  2. I started off with a 5 gal bucket and 4 25watt CFL. What an ugly site. I thought everything was ok. NOT. shut it down and tried a hydroponic/deep water culter project. I feel nute and water for soil is pretty hard to figure out in my opinion.

In hydroponics, you add the correct amount of nutes and when they are low you add more. What could be easier than that. Grown some great weed this way.

  3. could mean that, what is your light sched like, when i run 24/0 after about a week and a few days after i watered them they look like that so sometimes i just give them a drink and let them rest for 6 hours

  4. definately looks like some over watering. While the pots may not be all that heavy, you did say there is water in the bottom. Drill a few small holes in the bottom to allow for some drainage, and those should perk back up in a few hours

  5. Please say you have drainage holes.

If not, say hello to root rot.

    Proper drainage is a MUST!!

    Wet

  6. Thats ,why I grow hydro. Can't over water. Nute burn may happen, but even after the first grow you learn something. It's amazing.

  7. Even in hydro you still get O2 to the roots, right? Flood & Drain, airstones in DWC, etc.

    No drainage=no O2=root rot

    Wet

  8. yes i do have drainage four holes around the bottoms, i bought it like that mabee i should try to drill one in the middle on the bottom, next time ill add perlite for sure

  9. 18 on 6 off is my lighting sched.

  10. U don't need perlite in ffof I hear tons of people saying they add perlite to there ocean forest I for one don't add perlite and never had a problem overwatering just make sure u have proper drainage and let that bitch dry out before u put more water before I got the weight of the pot thing down I just shoved my pinky up the drainage hole if its got water about two inches in and ur plants not sagging from not water let it go another day it all comes down to knowing what ur plants telling u ull get it down don't worry

  11. thanks for the advice i did your finger method the soil is damp at best two inches in, but like i said before i havnt watered for four days so they should be starting to straighten out. ill let u guys know how it goes

  12. I had the same problem, i wouldn't water till the soil was dry, no change. I watered a little they would look better for a day then right back to the droop. It was only the branches tho. so i came to the conclusion that my soil had become too compact from watering. All I did was push in on the sides of my pot to loosen the soil and now she is bangin'

  13. there starting to perk back up.:hello:
