Over watered?

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by EagleBlue, Jan 1, 2019.

  1. 13 days old random bagseed, sprouted the same day... about 12 hours apart. I am using a 50/50 mix of ff original planting mix and ocean forest (with perlite), and under 2 Bloomspect 300 lights in a 36"x36" tent. I keep daytime temperature 75° - 78°. I just started 18/6 from 24/0. Humidity has been between 25% and 30% (dry winter weather here). I transplanted them because I wanted better aeration.

Since the transplant and added dark period, one has started looking better, but the other is still a sad sight to see. They are both not looking small for almost two weeks.

They probably didn't need nutrients yet, but I gave them 1/4 strength biothrive bloom and CaMg not long ago because I had an under feeding problem on my last disaster. Ppm was at 198 and pH 6.8. I know seedlings require little water, so I only poured a shot glass around the perimeter of each.

Any advice would be awesome, because I don't know what to do here.

  3. Its the same soil mix.

  4. Ph is a hair high, but they don't look bad off. It's probably just the stress from transplanting. Give them a couple more days and they should be back on track.

  5. Thing is, they looked that way before I transplanted. I'm going to back off and let them do their thing. The lights just went off, but the bigger one is growing again. I reckon I was over thinking things and as dan min said "killing them with love". Thanks for the replies and advice.

  6. One looks better and is growing. The other still looks sad, but it is slowly improving.
