Hey everyone I wanted to use a 5 gallon water jug by cutting off the bottom and placing it over stop of the plant in the ground or pot. It would prevent over watering and wind protection during storms and raining days. Would this work if I drilled dozens of quarter on holes throughout the sides for air flow. I figure the holes would be on the side so very little rain would get in, The holes would be used for air flow so the humidity wouldn’t be over whelming to the plant And it would still protect against strong gust of wind.
forget that wind consumes water its that easy as the plant fights its way thru the day any spare water in the roots soon dries out stop over thinking good luck
