Today and yesterday in Golden Gate Park, the Outside Lands music festival took place. I went both days, and it was amazing. I saw: The Strokes Pheonix Al Green Nas Damian Marley Slightly Stoopid Mayer Hawthorne Empire of The Sun People Under The Stairs Devil Makes Three Bassnectar and so many others. I smoked so many blunts and so many bowls, there were security guars everywhere but most were friends of ours and I even blazed with a few of them before Nas. They were pretty chill . There was tons of good food and good vibes, and the shows were AMAZING. Let me just say every show was great, but the ones that stood out were Pheonix and Empire of The Sun. Pheonix just blew everyone away with a much longer then scheduled set and with an extended version of tons of songs. It was their last tour before they go record a new album! Empire of the sun was just rediculous, if anyone has seen them live, they are the most impressive show I've ever seen. I was front row center, smoked a blunt for the first half of the show, then just enjoyed how crazy it was. They played for an hour straight, with a good encore. We were just dancing the entire time. I have a ton of pictures, I'll get them up real soon. Anyone else go and have stories?
I live 3 blocks from Golden Gate Park, and have attended this festival before, and it is ALWAYS amazing. Of course the guards aren't going to do anything. It's SAN FRANCISCO! Where else can you be offered 3 different flavors of brownie by the same dealer? (True story, he had some with walnuts, some that were frosted, and some that were chocolate chip) I'm glad to hear you made it. Just an awesome time.

Libertarian it was on the Twin Peaks stage in speedway meadow, they had dancers changing costumes constantly, rediculous lights and smoke, rediculous background going on. AHH IT WAS SO FUCKING COOL! Yeah the guards were like "Damn whitey, that's a fatass blunt there!"
