Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by AstralSativa, Nov 22, 2004.

  1. Hey does anyone have an ideas on what kinda strain I should look into for growing outdoors in canada. Im in the 56 39' N 111 13' W area.

Ive done a search and have come up with theses, any ideas on what I should use?

    1)Lethal Purple

    2)mighty might

    3)Texada Timewarp

    4)Hollands Hope

    5)Early Riser

  2. Ummm for a first time just buy bag seed but if you want one of those kinds go for hollands hope.

  3. I have always wanted to try a colourful strain such as the Lethal Purple. If you plan to sell the weed, this would definitely be a good selling point. My experience has shown that many people like exotic looking weed regardless of it's smoking quality.

It also sounds like it is quite productive, potent, and easy to grow. And it has a relatively short flowering stage, which will suit your climate.

Go for the LP if you know what is good for you.

  4. Have you guys had any experience with either Hollands hope or Lethal purple? I tried growing lethal purple once, they got about...1.5ft tall, and than someone stole them! :(
I have done some more looking threw marc emery and found another strain. Its called,
Bonkers. It looks interesting and seem faily easily to grow. Tho, thats in BC where it says it grows...Its alot more humid there than where I am.

Oh and thanks for replying! :)

  5. When you're looking through Mark Emery, look for something called Diablo. That looks good.

  6. HIGH All, Texada Timewarp from Peak is one nice strain I'm sure you'll like.

  7. hollands hope is pretty good, a average yield and heavy stone. mighty might i found grew tall and with one main cola, and high was average i guess. lethal purple is the way to go for sure. it finished end of september very good yield and mild taste.

  8. When is your first frost, I live at 45N Canada, picking the right strain that finishes on time would greatly benefit the grower.

    M-J

  9. Anything with Early at the start of the strain name, auto strains....and for the most part Canada can produce almost any indica and some sativa's IE Durban Poison.

Depending on what part of canada you live in, but most parts of southern canada can grow anything Cali can and better.:D With the right thumb of course.

    Peace.

  10. Damn straight. :p
