Hello all, I'm going to finish cleaning up my spot tomorrow out in the woods and start me a little outdoor grow project... I have been reading everything I can find, and I find this forum very helpful. Now, I was wondering, can I plant my seeds directly in the ground and not start them in little pots first? Like, I'll put soil mix in the ground and all, fertilizer/ everything I need, just can't start/sprout the plants at home b/c my mom.
So, when I plant my seeds (15 bag seeds) How close/far apart should I plant them? I want to get the maximum yield from all the plants!
a little less than 1 metre should be fine try to avoid regular patterns if any possible they will stand out as man-made from large distance. but i am noob myself...
If your spot is secluded enough then cut the bottoms off some two or three liter bottles and place them over the seeds when planted. That you can use till they get alittle bigger. Wont protect from bugs in the soil but should help dramatically with slugs, those are the biggest killers of small plants.
