im from sweden, stockholm and I´ve planed to buy some seeds and grow them outdoors! but i dont know if the plants can handel the scandinavian weather... it is warm here in the summers but it can ger really cold in the winters... i really need advices from skilled growers and hopefully some1 who lives in sweden, finland or norway! //kesoo
umm....i dont live in any of those places but it seems to me that either just plant them indoors in pots..then when the suns out..stick em out in the garden..this is what i do seen as i live the uk(until i get my lights) the weather here is very tempremental...it can change so easily..and you dont want your mj plants being exposed to exessive amounts of rain..wind..or cold..OR you could get an early flowering plant like early girl or early bud..and plant them outdoors at the start of spring..that way you SHOULD avoid most weather and should get them harvested by autumn. hope this helps. will
thnx... its just 1 problem.. i still live at home so i cant have visible plants anywhere n i havent got any clouset to put them in...:S (still lookin for an outdoor grower in scandinavia)
find the last frost for your area and use that date to know when to start. it would be better to start those babies indoors for about a month (survival rate will be higher) but starting outdoors you should be able to get some decent plants. just make sure you have a lot of seeds. you could maybe build a small greenhouse for like 20$ in the bush out of scrap wood and some plastic... or cut the bottom off a 2L pop bottle and place it over your seedlings. this will help your plants when they are most likely to die.
Drago I have a question I live in the cold US areas, and its 3 weeks til cold weather, I have 2, 2 week old sprouts and am forced to put them outside, how do I make this 2L bottle idea as promising as it can be? I was thinkin just take off the cap and cut the bottom off is that good? I have 3 days and need to find the best greenhouse I can they only will be in the 37 degree nites for 2 weeks!!
