Outdoor Flowering on Hot Days

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by LouCabrazi, Aug 11, 2012.

  1. We've been getting some hot August days in Southern California. Is it ok to leave flowering plants in direct sunlight on these hot days or would it be better to give them partial shade under a wood pergola patio cover? I've got about 3-4 weeks of flowering left.

Thanks in advance for the help!

  2. Hi LouCabrazi

I would google "salicylic acid and plant heat stress" If that doesn't turn up any results let me know.

Fresh aloe vera fillet's have SA readings off the chart.

  3. I'll check it out but doesn't really answer my question...Full sun or under the patio cover?
