  1. Im in the upper midwest and want to have a little 4 female plot this year out doors.
my plan is like this, start seedlings in doors, bring them outside question 1. when do you put them out in the upper midwest?
i was planning on digging the growing holes and using a perlite store bought soil mix for the imediate area where ill plant.
i planned on watering once a week.
im concerned about over growth with the other vegetation in the area.2 how much direct sunlight do they neeed? (its on a south facing slope)
    3. I have ducks raccoon and rabbits and squirels and crows to deal with is that gonna be a problem?
i dont want to invest much....i think thats about it

  2. Hey dude,

Yup start you seedling indoors to let them get approx 1ft for more before planting outdoors. I'm not saying they have to be that big, but the chance of survival will be better. Put them out when you sure that the last frost has passed. In Canada thats around June 1 for me. Store bought ProMix will work well. At least 5 hours of direct sunlight they'll need. The more sun the better the buds. Mine get around 12 or more hours of Direct sunlight whre I plant. Put up some cheep chicken wire around your plants that will help keep the critters away, there's also a product I use called SCoop that does a fine job for all critters. Good Luck man.

  3. whats scoop though where do you get it?

  4. Sorry dude the product is Called Scoot. I picked it up at the local Greenhouse, I think walmart sells it to. The product is a white liquid that you mix with water. You spray it on the leaves of your plants to stop critters from eating them. It works great on slugs if you spray or paint the botton of the stalks of the plants. Slugs climb up the main stalk and then feed on your plants leaves. If you spray the stalks they will not climb and eat. I lost an entire crop of seedlings 3 years ago to slugs.
