Hey guys.. This is a grow journal I decided to make of my 2nd attempt at growing.. The first time i failed horribly because the soil i used was basically clay.. I decided to do a little research this time to get a little more knowledge on growing before i attempted this again.. Im still really new to this and any bit of feedback is appreciated.. Im originally from New York and i moved to the Philippines for school.. Was able to find a connect here but the bud absolutely sucks.. Worst than schwag haha.. I always have seeds whenever i buy so i decided to goahead and germinate a few.. 2 were able to sprout so thats what i was left with.. These two little ones are about 5 days old and they seem to be going well.. Im actually growing on my balcony which gets direct sun from 2pm - 6pm.. is that enough sun? Also it gets pretty hot and humid during the day.. Does that severely effect the way they grow? Im really trying to do a good job in growing so that i have some worthy green to puff on haha.. Ill keep posting updates on how theyre doing.. Any bit of feedback is appreciated!

Im just going keep giving these little guys love and hopefully they pay me back in the future..

Love the Philippines. Even married a Filipina girl. Yah the weed suck but always been able to find some okay hash in zambalas. We built a vacation home in Zambalas as well.

Not sure on grow help in Philippines though.

How long have you been in the Philippines? If your single your going to have a blast.

Also check out the Manila new years fireworks. Nothing like it in the world I am betting.

  4. Never been to Cebu. Just Luzon area.

PI is near the equator right? Not much light change during the year is what I am saying.

Yeah its sunny and hot all year around.. And the day/night ratio is pretty much always 12/12

  6. So you may have to make a light sealed box to flower them? There is info on this on this site. I am sure others will chime in.

  9. Quick update on my lil ones.. Moved them into different containers.. And still on my balcony.. Actually rained the past 3 days (rainy season -_-) so they didnt get much sun/growth.. They still seem to be thriving as far as i know haha.. Just gonna continue to be consistent as possble to monitor them..

  11. So you guys are taking all our rain! lol

Still looking good, be patient. Once the plant hits a rhythm, it will take off from there.

Thanks alot for yoyr reply.. Yeah its seems to be coming along nicely.. But the rain and lack of sun definitely slowed everything down.. I hope they catch their rhythm soon.. Cant wait for the sun to come out more so i can really see it take off!

  13. Another update.. Lil ones growing nice and steady.. (unfortunately, still raining almost every day here) hopefully there will be more sun soon.. Having a great time observing and learning about this plant.. Furthest ive ever gotten during a grow so at least i can say ive gotten this far! Haha

The rainy season? LOL It seems like it will never stop......

Looking good and like the biger pots. I would start a few more right at the end of rainy season. Backup if both your plants are male. I bet in the sunny season they would catch right up?

When do plants flower in the PI?

Thanks alot! im planning to germinate a few more soon, just incase.. Yeah im pretty sure once the sun starts to come out, theyll really start to take off.. You know how intense the sun is over here haha sure my plants will love it.. And to be honest, im not really sure when plants begin to flower over here.. Aside from the rain, the weather is basically the same all year round.. Maybe should have waited for the rainy to finish to start growing.. But im sure they will be okay.. And im praying at least one is a female.. When exactly can i tell?

  16. You should be able to tell in about two weeks. It depends on the strain but I can usually sex them after 5-6 weeks from seed.

Maybe start taking really close up pictures of the internodes in a couple weeks and we can tell you.

  17. Couple update pics..
