Outdoor 20G Bubblebucket grow = possible?

  1. Now this is just an idea. Imagine getting an amazing sativa clone. No strain preference just yet, im just thinking sativa, one that could grow to the height of 15 feet on its own outdoors. Now we all know, how much bigger, how much faster, and how much more hydroponics yields. The comparison is just crazy. So here's my idea... growing hydroponically outdoors!

That's right. Maybe in a few years from now, when I am experienced, I want to try this. Imagine having a 20 gallon bubblebucket, with maybe 6 tank bubblers, growing under the sun. Think of the possibillities! I don't know if this has been done before, the first I have heard of the idea. I can only imagine the outdoor climate, watering, algae, bugs, and whatnot would interfere, but I bet it's possible... now imagine, a 25 foot sativa beauty, yielding 5 pounds alone on a single plant. Oh man, I bet it could be done. I swear it could be done.

NOW FOR YOUR THOUGHTS :D Yes I know, I'm a dreamer. I wouldn't have it any other way though.

  2. :smoking: good luck.. :D ...keep us posted with your progress........laters

  3. HIGH All, aahhhhh great minds think alike eh!!! Thought of it...just don't have a secure enough place to put them. All you'd need is a battery and a solar charger for the pumps and your on your way.

  4. So it's possible, you're saying it's possible right? :D I have a place for it, but there are a few problems with the whole idea behind it. We'll see what we can come up with though.

  5. its not imposible to do but where the hell would you put it.....the solar pannel and battery is a good idea but it sounds like its going somewhere secluded...this means no quick and easy ppm or ph test never mind changing your water......i think if you have a garden that you could do it in that would be the way to go.....still if anybody does it let us know how it goes....laters

  6. Well I would love to do it. But not for a few good years am I going to try it. It would have to be right beside your house I think. You would need an alternate resivour of equal capasity. You would almost just be better off running an insulated cord to your house if you had the option to do it. I really think it would be possible. You would just have to seal the outside of your pot, any outside water leaks would be bad. I wonder how bacteria and bug life would react to hydro. Hmmm it's a dream. I think the best someone could do is have a bubblebucket on top of their house. Or on their deck. Anything can happen.
