  1. Everytime a blue whale nuts it releases 360 gallans of sperm, and this isn't inclueding all other whales and fish though. 360 gallons/whale isnt that much though. There are 361,200,000,000,000 gallons of water in the ocean, 11,000 blue whales left, lets say half are female (5,500). Thats 1,980,000 gal of sperm if ever blue whale nutted in the water at the same time. The world's largest oil spill 240 million gal and there where 65 other over spills that had over 10 mil gal of oil but we don't get in oil everytime go to the beach. 0.0000056% of the water is sperm.

  2. Thats funny :D

  3. :D Now theres something to think about.

  4. I never go in the water at the beach anyways...

  5. That's still quite a lot of sperm...

  6. I did the math btw :p

Oh well, I read it from somewhere, can't site it though, don't remember where, someone always has to shoot me down :(. 5gal is still a lot though. :p

  7. Someone shot you down?

  8. Maybe I red that quote wrong?

I found one source stating that the southern right whale — which has testicles even larger than the blue whale's, weighing in a half-a-ton apiece — produces around 5 gallons of ejaculate in one mating session.) The statistic is simply bogus.

  9. it's from an urban legends website somewhere. I just remembered when a chain-letter talking about whales semen in the ocean was going around.

  10. makes me think about swimming in the ocean:D

  11. Hempress, I'm in love with that mesmerized video

  12. Right or wrong it still brings a whole new meaning to the tagline:
"Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water..."
