Well I as thinking, and I watched the union the other night, if the government started taxing marijuana couldn't our economy get somewhat out of some debt? 7 billion dollars annually is crazy, and just think of how many more people would smoke once marijuana became legal. Also hemp would become legal again as well and we would be racking in big bucks. Just an idea I came up with, I hope the government gets their heads out of their ass's and find something to do.
Not only would there be billions of dollars coming in from taxing it, but there would be even more billions saved each year by ending the war on marijuana. I'd love to see a figure showing how much it costs to prosecute hundreds of thousands of marijauana users each year.
