  1. I'm sorry to hear that. So far it works well for me but I do wish I had gone with a more "well-known" brand. Oh well, you live an learn.. ;)

  2. Turns out my temps are fine, I left my meter in there last night...
    27c max around 79f
    21c low around 69f

I do have another led going in so it's gravy baby !!!

  3. In that case, I can't wait for the newest thread..

  4. From what I understand Indica's and strains that originate from a non tropical climate can flourish in colder environments. I myself live where there is snow a little over 1/2 of the year (yes California gets snow) and I grow in a non sealed environment under my house, so my lows can get close to freezing during the dark period in my room.

You can see what I went through in my 1st grow. They tend to grow a bit slower, but they turn out great. I always give my brother a plant or 2 of what I am growing, just so I can see what they do in a warmer climate. Some times mine are better, others his are better.

I am thinking of trying a heater during dark period this winter, but we will see, my average temps through out the year are 65- light 55 dark, obviously winter is cooler and summer is hotter but that is the full year average I have documented.

Knock on wood, but I have never had a plant die due to extream temps, high or low. So I don't really worry about temps, I just record them.

It is amazing this plant really can, and does grow anywhere and everywhere

  5. My first plant was pretty damn indica and the temps. were way too high, we still had a decent harvest but I always wonder what could have been.. Lol

  6. It's not letting me post pics tonight.. :(

  7. Nah I couldnt this morning either, I think GC is having a bad day !!!

  8. Lame.. Well I'll try again later tonight.

  9. hell yeah, i wanna see some pics, did u slow down the watering at all? Also, if u run across a few extra bucks, Hygrozyme is an incredible additive. My mothers are in soil, and everytime i water with it the leaves point straight up to the light. Its supposed to help breakdown things in the roots to allow for easier nutrients uptake. It can get a little pricey but its one of the few additives that you can see immediate results from.

They always say its better for us growers just learning to make sure theres plenty of drainage in the soil due to the fact that 90% of all failures are due to overwatering/overfeeding. I always mixed my FFoF 50/50 with perlite, You can get a huge back of it cheap at the depot.

Just got stoned thought Id lend a hand, cant wait to see those buds fatten up chili

Now on with the grow porn!

  10. Lmao, thx man. I slowed down a bit on the clones and they may like it but it's still a little too early to tell. But with my mother, she starts drooping if I don't water every third day. I did raise the ph, although the first time I took it easy and it didn't raise as much as I wanted, so I'll just do water and ph up tomorrow and hopefully fix it once and for all.

Everything still looks good and I will post pics tomorrow if gc allows..

Lots of people (myself included) don't like uploading to external image sights because of content and if that site ever goes under or changes URLs then the journal has a dead space where the pic once was.

  13. hey hey fellas, checkin in. where are those pics chili. Playin the waiting game over here with my aero-cloner :(

    keep it burnin !

  14. Uploads works now! Can't wait to see either. Trying to be patient. I guess you have a life though

  15. I have the feeling that when he does get back to the thread, he is going to bombard us with visuals!

    I hope I am right :)

  16. I'll go with LED's once they are mass marketed like cfl grow lights.

Only then will the outrageous prices be reasonable

  17. Hey guys, it was a crazy busy weekend is all. And tonight I will flood this thread with new pics. Sorry to keep everyone waiting ;)

  18. Hurry up Top Gears on soon !!!

  19. I'm a very very impatient fellow and after about ten minutes of frustration over the upload quirk the other day, I quickly made a video slide show in windows movie maker and added a background song/ three minutes and I had it uploaded to my youtube account and was able to share the video link inline. Don't know if you would consider bothering with that approach if it ever goes wonky again, but thought I'd offer the suggestion for a workaround.

  20. Sometimes when I have a problem with my PC my Android will let me post photos with no problem. Not sure if you have more than one internet access at home, but if so, try another approach.
