Well boys and girls, It’s been a great year so far. In the line up we have Mendo Cookies, Masalana Cookies, Tropicana Fuel, Fuel Dog, Maui Wowie, Passion Fruit, and Tangerine Dream. I mixed a custom soil consisting of the 1/3 peat, aeration, compost, and added a custom mix of all the regular stuff. Kelp, rock dust, castings, neem, karanja, frass, dolomite, you get the picture. The Tropicana Fuel is starting to go into flower it looks like. These plants are stiiiiinky! I can’t wait to see how it turns out. Hopefully if I can get them covered and kept dry I’ll be able to keep the bud rot at bay. I’ve also started to spray BT to hopefully stop the damn caterpillars. Pots are 40 gallon, and 65 gallon. I’ve been brewing up teas about every other watering. My big plants are drinking 5+ gallons a day. As in I don’t get runoff. Probably will have to start giving them a little more soon. I’m brewing in a 55 gallon tank with two air stones meant for 100 gallon fish tank. I give them fish hydroslate, kelp, coconut water, SST’s, molasses, basalt rock dust, dolomite, castings, frass, on and on. I try to stick to half strength.
Well things are poppin over here! The weather has been excellent this year. Plants have been slurping down every tea I make. I’ve been giving foliar sprays twice a week alternating between BT and Regalia. The plants are loving it. I sprouted some corn and barley that I’m drying which I will grind and give to the plants soon. Maybe tomorrow. Enzymes are the shit! The Tropicana Fuel has started to flower first. I got my greenhouse frame set up and all the supplies to cover with plastic when the time comes. I’m late to the game with trellis but better late then never. I ordered some today so hopefully next weekend I’ll be able to hang the first layer. Im hoping I can keep the bud rot at bay this year we shall see. Plants are ranging from 5-8 ft. Growing like crazy with this Oregon weather and organic inputs. Shits getting out of control!
You've earned 1st place this year - Nice job on the plants & yards. Everything looks super healthy and vibrant.
Thanks man I have been trying. These will be the biggest plants I’ve ever grown. Everything is going great so far this year. I just hope I can handle the rainy season.
Tropicana Fuel Plants are starting to put on some flowers! I’d say we’re at beginning of flower to around 3 weeks for the farthest ones along.
