Orionid meteor shower starts tonight

    Just wanted to share ..for any star watchers like me......the orionid starts tonight around 1 am...up to 20 or so shooting stars an hour...emiting from orions belt..remnants of haleys comit.......i live deep country and watch star showers all the time....enjoy now till november

    Thanks for the reminder. Moon is dark, sky is clear. Apparently best viewing is right before sunrise, and I just happen to be up. Live close to Chicago, but in a little suburban hole where it is pretty dark.

    Time for a walk?

    Actually really cloudy here. Oh well. I saw an owl fly by, so that was pretty cool.

    Owls are some of the coolest predator birds of prey - nice.

    It was cloudy around indy too....
