Hey high-guys! I'm new on the forums,directly from south-america,hope to be well received xD, sorry for my probable language problems, I'm trying a dictionary for specific breeding vocabulary,if u guys do not understand something,tell me please. Well, I had never before breeded, not even beans,and I followed a friend who was growing cannabis to learn some about it. I have chosen organic growing for my indoor ritual. I'll tell you all I can about the way I've treated the plants,and post some photos. My will is to improve my breeding methods in order to get the best quality buds I can. Hope to receive good tips start: 27 september,2010 soil's ingredients: humus,vegetable earth,coconut fiber,chicken manure,bone flour and vermiculite 3 seeds: lowrider(it is near the door),critical jack (in the middle) and super skunk(far from the door). critical has the bigger vase. they are on a little bathroom,on top of a thick wood board. I was using HQI (18/6) for veg. and am now using HPS (12/12) for flowering. both 400W,with a cooltube,a reflector and 2 ventilators.I have changed the lamps it's been 11 days now.the autoflowering was already flowering. as you can see on the photos,the glass from the cool tube is not there,but I'll be placing it once again today. this is the recipe I'm using for my organic tea (which I wasnt using very often on vegetable growth because of my time issues(I was using rizotonic at the time)) : 2 cups of humus,1 cup of chicken manure,1 cup of bone flour,1 cup of wood ashes,1/2 cup of fruit bark, 3 spoons of brown sugar,some fresh grass and 1 spoon of magnesium sulfate. It's all on a bucket,with one of those oxygen-producers for aquariums. I also have another bucket with one of those to clean my tap water ou of chlorine. what I have been doing now that it is flowering is : 5 days of biofert,flush,wait 40 hours,restart cicle. the ph I'm looking for is 6.2-6.5, which I control with white vinegar. ok,here are the photos: -the room -cool tube and duct -the plants -the training on critical -easyrider flower ok,now I have some doubts: 1- I don't exactly how frequently to water my cannabis. When on veg., I was having 30 hours between watering,now I'm doing 24 hours more or less,don't know if this is the right way to take it. 2-I've flushed only 2 times,and what I did was to water it slowly until my bottom-plates were filled with liquid,then cleaned.I repeated this until I had a almost-transparent water. is that correct? Antithought, Welcome to Grasscity. Just a thought, but you would probably get more exposure in either the organic growing or the organic grow journals section. If you're so inclined, you can use the thread tools function to move your thread. On another note, it's very difficult to see your pics as they are oversized for this venue. If you were to use the manage attachments function at the bottom of the thread starter page, you could import the pics from your computer to the thread and they would be in thumbnail form on the thread, Viewers of your thread could then click on the thumbnail to see a properly sized image. We welcome you from S.A., and hope to see you through your grow. So far, from what I can tell, your plants are looking healthy. thanks for the reply chunkdaddyo , and thanks for the welcome too! as for the photos,aswell as the part of the forum issue, I'll solve both of them when I get new pictures,as I'll create a new topic,and add pictures every 3 days,a flowering journal,as to say well,about the plants, I have 2 questions and I would appreciate a lot if you guys could help: -is it normal that some of the bottom leaves get yellow? -is it normal that my plants ask for water every 25-28 hours +- ? cause I've seen most people saying the schedule for watering should be longer cheers grow high!
