Hi Y'all growing some organic cannabis here in the desolate North. I started the seeds last month on the 10th and half sprouted the 16th. Worst germination rate I've ever experienced from seedsman and from recent reviews all over the site it seems this year germination from their company is about 30% in the whole US but that's another story....
I had 22 pop 7 Autos the rest regular 2 weeks later I germinated 12 more 8 poped. My AK and Hindu Kush were complete germination failures ughhhh not cool. But I have 4 Alaskan Purple, 6 Snowbud, 2 raspberry cough, 2 peyote crit, 2 Skunk #1, 2 Northern Lights, 4 Nepalese, 1 Early Girl

Only growing my legal 12 all the way through picking the best out of the multiple

Everything is in 5gal buckets cut in half and gorilla taped back together in another 2 weeks or so they'll go in their holes each of which is about 150gal. I'm late on digging or they would be in earlier I need my soil to cook at least 2 weeks to get them microbes transmutating lol

Soil mix Is half native, half mix, goes as follows. (Measurements in 2gal pals)
Each hole has two loads of a 7cf gorilla cart heaped so its more like 8.5cf per load.
Each cart load- 10 buckets native soil not at once but layered with other additives. 3 buckets steer manure, 3 buckets sphagnum peat, 3 buckets Gardner and bloom potting soil ( I don't think Gardner and bloom is talked enough on this forum and everyone is wasting money on HF and FF and that's from more than 10yrs of reading on this site....) and 1 bucket of perlite.
Amendments are as follows per cart load done with a 1.4 cup container.
1 full scoop Earth juice Rainbow Pro Mix( great stuff look at picks to see content)
    3 scoops Garden Lime
    1 scoop blood meal
    1 scoop bone meal
    1/2 scoop alfalfa meal
    1/2 scoop kelp meal
1 scoop Gardner and bloom tomatoes, veg, and herb fert

I'm also using RTI Mycos and Azos

I know a couple things aren't omri listed but if thats how you know organic supplements you're missing out on sooooooo many products. Omri is a pay to play type listing there are things that aren't truly organic listed and things that are that aren't.

So about 1 cup amendments per cf of soil and half cup garden lime per cf of soil

2 loads of this soil mix per hole per plant.

Ok that's the deets now about what's current lol.

Got 1 raspberry cough in 1st hole I dug about 2 weeks ago, it's cooked enough so instead of wasting time I threw a girl in and take off she has RIGHT AWAY NO STALL I powdered the root ball with Azos and dumped a bunch of Mycos with the root ball. I actually tore some roots because the lower half of the bucket was still soaked but with the Azos and Mycos no stall in transplant.

The others are veging in their pots waiting for their holes to be done and to cook.
Autos should be done mid to end of next month. 2 white widows 2 Northern light cheese 2 royal dwarf 1 Northern Lights.

Oh yeah anyone else on hear have to deal with leaf hoppers?? I go out and squish them all day searching plants pinching them.....

  2. Update some pics from the morning and right now everything big (10inch or more) got a gallon everything else half to 1/4 gallon this morning. I try not to water deep in pots and bucket because during the heat it drys very uneven and I can end up with bone dry top 6 inch's and muddy bottom 8 to 6.
Though everything is booming. I have Real Growers Recharge coming the 2nd to the 8th just in time for transplants stay tuned to see what it does. 4. Dude honestly with all the indoor autos I grew the 4 I threw in the ground when I got here last year were the strongest yet also the densest. The sun is the way to go lol

  6. Everything is looking good, got some smoke in the air from some fire north of me but hey natural smoke screen and excess CO2 in the air right now ain't to bad lol. That raspberry cough in the ground didn't slump at all during transplant but growth did stall slightly it was the bigger between the two growing and now it's the smaller by much, should shoot up in a few days. Everything else is growing steadily. Skunk #1 is the biggest by far, can't wait to start some earlier in the year. Autos are budding in super dense, same thing last year each one barely or a few grams over an ounce, these though are bigger so meh who knows. 7. Everything's good though the other raspberry cough I transplanted is a little droopy should pick up in a day or two got a little impatient I want these girls to get in the ground already only about 3-4 weeks before everything jumps into flower IMG_20210630_200430.jpg IMG_20210630_200448.jpg IMG_20210630_200256.jpg IMG_20210630_200248.jpg IMG_20210630_200303.jpg IMG_20210701_191735.jpg IMG_20210701_191911.jpg IMG_20210701_191922.jpg IMG_20210701_191924.jpg

  8. You really are in the desert haha

  9. Oh yeah bro lol!! Hot days cold nights late start but we get a bit of an Indian summer, warm September nights maybe a frost or 2 in oct and Nov but still warm nights. But the temp swings are wild the heat is why my buds aren't developing fast but they are dense as heck il post pics in a little.

And yo on your soil mix, look at my mix it comes out to one cup per cf of amendments. I actually switched on my newer dug holes from a "scoop" 1.4cup each of bone and blood meal to half and now 2 scoops of the earth juice. The more you add the less teas you need just gotta let the soil cook

I’m getting so many different answers on amounts, I sent BuildASoil a message to see what they say. 1/2cup seems light and 2 cups seems right to me but I have no fuckin clue man lol I am just getting back into growing after 5 years so there will be some trial and error.

Not sure it you saw my post the other day but this was my Gorilla Cookies at 42 days like you were curious about
    IMG_1213.JPG IMG_1257.JPG IMG_1241.JPG

Somethings goin on tho and I’m getting some weird deficiencies coming in, I think it’s a pH issue

  11. 1 cup per cf is perfect imo there could be more but to me no less unless it's immediate soil. The whole things no matter the amount is letting it cook, longer for more because amount equates to, microbe digestion speed / amount microbes consume X amount of amendments for microbes to consume = cook time. For the average 1 cup per cf it's about a 2week cook time 3 week best.

Those are looking good man, did your recharge come in ? It'll act as a ph buffer.
Heres an old indoor auto journal from 2yrs ago right when I started doing super soil, notice in my mix I used 9cups to 25gals of soil which is about 3 cups per cf >_<
    A big tent and autos

    A big tent and autos

I noticed in your thread you were doing hempy, was it true hempy ? I did it as well the friggin plant sizes from it are crazy.

  12. Everything is Growing Growing Growing
Some up close of white widow and the NL Cheese Autos this heat makes the buds develop slowly but potent yummm lol watered everything this morning straight water. First Raspberry cough I believe is back on track so only about 3days of slow 2nd transplant is perking up already maybe tomorrow everything will spring up, picking up my recharge today in town, can't ship anything to where I am so it has to go to a friend I made in the nearest town luckily they let me use their address.

And OMG the Nepalese and the Skunk#1 are already producing terps like wtf not even in flower you rub the Nepalese stalks and they smell like fresh wild garlic, the skunk has a strong musk when you rub the branches. Maybe an adaptation developed for insect control in the wild.

  13. Oh I should point out all of the autos for some reason just the bottom half had a ph of 3 or lower I think it was the peat moss that washed to the bottom and no lime in the mix. I added wood ash but it's strong maybe some recharge and the buds will swell better, they're dense little rocks on the branches for what they are but the swell is no good lol.

  14. I’ll check out that thread when I have some time

The soil is gonna be cooking for at least 1 month so that should be plenty, I’m gonna mix on Monday. The recharge should be here on Monday as well and I’ll water everything with it.

What would a true hempy be?

  15. Yep plenty cook time. Hempy where the container is just vermiculite and perlite nothing else aka poor man's hydro. I had some going they did fantastic. Friggin A went to go pick up my recharge and my friend left town for the 4th and won't be in till Tuesday bummer lol

Yeah it was a milk jug with the top and bottom cut off filled with perlite sitting in a tote filled with perlite too

Believe it or not, I used only a Veg and a Bloom nute and didn’t pH the water lol. The smoke was horrible tho so I dropped it… maybe I’ll give it another go

  17. Everything is growing good transplanted the biggest Alaskan Purple into the ground. Checked one of the other holes still warm about 8inches down so a few more days. The hot weather is cooking the holes quick lol keeping them nice and watered though microbes are pumpin. Got bugs, lady bugs lol I ordered leaf hoppers assassin eggs so hopefully that will cut their numbers down I'm not using annnnnny insecticide just counter them.
The freshly transplanted Alaskan Purple is already perking up. The mix started getting more perlite I felt after the first hole the native soil's clay content was still to much even though I've only been saving the top 6inches but nothing bad. Close up of everything and the Nepalese gosh these are gunna be tall girls also the skunk, brought her in last night the wind got a bit tough and the top level up roots in these buckets don't like stretching out due to the heat so she's a little weak in holding roots Image (3).jpg IMG_20210704_101139.jpg IMG_20210704_101148.jpg IMG_20210704_101217.jpg IMG_20210704_101232.jpg IMG_20210704_101243.jpg IMG_20210704_101300.jpg IMG_20210704_101304.jpg IMG_20210704_101311.jpg IMG_20210704_101315.jpg IMG_20210704_101335.jpg IMG_20210704_101342.jpg IMG_20210704_101355.jpg IMG_20210704_101451.jpg IMG_20210704_101738.jpg
