Organic nutrients

Discussion in 'Advanced Growing Techniques' started by Grateful noob, Dec 21, 2019.

  1. I’ve been wanting to switch my nutrient lineup from fox farms. I understand they aren’t completely organic.

    Some questions I have:
    -coco or soil?
-Coco implies I’m going to use dry amended nutes?
-will growing in soil and using bottled nutes be cheaper in the long run?
-what are some good bottles nutes that are completely organic?

  2. If you want to go organic IMO the only way to do it properly is mixing your own organic soil. An organic soil that properly amended and rich in organic matter will grow big and healthy plants, and you won't need any bottled nutes.

  3. Yeah coco is hydroponics mate. Doesn’t work anywhere near as good with dry amendments in it cos you gotta water it constantly.
If you want organic then do it properly with a no til or living soil.
I’m just a hydro monkey but plenty good organic growers round here to show you what you need to know. Sure someone pop in soon enough :)
