First of all I would like to say.. Hellloooo Cityyy, and Im so damn pleased to be back doin another journal. This run was a slightly delayed in veg due to my inability to nurture these poor ladies more and let things get out of hand with my feedings Organics may be well, "organic" but you must provide a nice diverse and well balanced soil of Earthworm castings (humus) Guanos, kelps, rock phosphate, dolomite lime, peat moss, whateveryouwant ect.. I look at organic growing as your very own recipe, and sometimes it differs between strains/pheno's and you have to tune in to the lady and hear her out (she'll tell you) Basically you want some goodies to keep the microherd fed and reproducing. You'll benefit if you do by, increasing your ladies metabolism, and ultimately encourages greater conservation of water and other resources. So if your planning to grow the all natural way(smarter way, BETTER YIELD BETTER NUGS) then you might want to take this into consideration, this is all key. Though this isnt my proudest grow I got brewin, its definitely turning into my favor and the growth is astoundingly impressive week by week thus far. Another key to your organic grows is gonna be an aeriated teas with molasses, and other things (depending on stage of growth) Anywayss I'll get on with it (just want to clue those non organics in on what they're missing, by fillin their lungs with chemicals!) I have 3 other ladies also in veg appr. 3weeks old.. Lemon Skunk.. White Widow.. Chocolope SO heres some pics guyss, Enjoy and let me know whatcha think! First 2 pics are the White Berry Pics 3-4 are the L.a Pic 5 is Chocolope Pic 6 is White Widow And the last is Lemon Skunk!
Starting week 3 of flower!! Totally excited about this shit now, the growth has been excellent.. Just gave her a super tea of everything she could possibly benefit in this stage of growth. Ultimately I wanted to achieve a fungai dominant tea, and I believe whatever I did worked Check them out.. The first set of pics are all White Berry
dude the plants look fucking awesome, iam planing a first grow, have FFoF soil, and wanna be organic as possible on the nutes, was planning on no nutes during veg (1month>) and then using tiger bloom, epsom salt, and molassess during flowering........what do u think of that for feeding/soil......can u write up yours?
Thanks alot, I appreaciate it! Im currently using FFOF/Happy Frog 50/50 mix. I believe it does the trick although I'll be switching back to straight Ocean Forest for a while (gotta re-up the happy frog). Im happy to hear you wanna be organic, and it seems you have the right idea so far about no nutes for first month (cept maybe a lil senzisym). I have had succesful grows in the past with tiger bloom, however it is not entirely organic, and you may be hit with some problems (drops ph). I would steer away from this as much as possible IMO. If you want a relatively cheap line of nutes thats all organic look no further my friend, you can pick up a whole amazing line of organic nutes (root enhancer, veg, flower, foliar feed) all in one for about 25bucks! No shit, its called Blue Mountain Organics, they're on ebay! Look into it brother I currently use a different formula however.. In veg for the first month I let'em do their thing (no nutes) After I transplant in about 2-3gallon container continue veg Mix some desert bat guano 8-4-1 towards the bottom of container (roots will find it and love it) some fox farm peace of mind 3-8-8 (abuncha micro¯o nutes) an inch or to below where roots will be transplanted in for a nice treat and helps balance ph! I then will usually spread a good amount of Eathworm castings globally for some soluble N and some trace minerals. I have a few Advanced Nutrients products that I believe have a great effect on the plants overall happiness. One is Sensizym (80 or so enzymes increases plants metabolism helping it accomplish alot more than normal, helps water transpiration and turns organic material into readily avail. nutes!) I also tend to use some Nirvana every once ina whileee. Its a good K source with the power of kelpp (plants dig it). After I make it through veg 4-7 weeks (depending on strain) I transplant into final pot 7-10gallons. Same theme sorta, but now I mix Dry bar bat cave Guano 3-10-1 towards bottom half of pot. use the same everything else and use my teas accordingly throughout flower and late veg! Take note you dont need too entirely much of these nutes such as guano (I only sprinkle about a teaspoon in if that.) Im stoned and rambling sorry. lol About 600 lol They share the same pad so about 300 to each of them! Heres my veg ladies 1-2 is my White Widow (Confirmed Female) 3-4 is Chocolope (smell is amazing already) 5-6 is Lemon Skunk (hangin in their lol)
^ hey i juss seen that BMO ebay page....prices look awesome, do u have any grows using that u can show off.......have u ever used BMO? thinkin about tryin em out for my first grow
Well actually this grow is grown with BMO products and so was my last grow with Super Lemon Haze (find my thread) I used the flower power and the Super plant tonic. Both are amazing products and are very beneficial to your ladies. The plant tonic is the root enhancer and literally does make your roots explode (if used correctly) Flower power is perfect in my situation, its NPK is 1-8-7 which is excellent for mid flowering and also both are great in aeriated teas!
^ hey is that super plant tonic sopposed to be used in early-mid veg? was gonna get the super tonic, flower power, and both guanos.....thanks again
Yes the super plant tonic can be used weekly at 1tsp/per g. for the entire cycle. However I like to switch it up ALOT, I believe it benefits the plant in the end, but everything in moderation! Moderation is key my mon. You have a great idea as far as your plan goes some nice liquids that'll replace the solids inevitably.. The molasses is also a great thing providing a npk of about 1-0-4 if your getting a good unsulphered blackstrap molasses and nothing else. Use about a tsp of this per gallon in mid-late flowering (before flush) a couple times and your bound to get a denser, tastier, bud. I prefer to use molasses in my teas also, but remember a little goes a long way! Mix that guano up good, you dont want any hotspots.
Approaching week 4 of flower! The ladies are lookinn good Switched the lights to 12/12 on the Chocolope and WW a few days ago, the lemon skunk is just chillin in her own lil' box on 24/7 until I can get some more perlite lol But just got some more bulbs for the boxes so I can seperate the flowering girlies. Been about 4weeks and 4days since the 12/12 switch with the White Berry and L.A Con Thy're lookin beast and the resin production is rapid! Gave them a nice tea a few days ago (along with the new flowering girls) and growth just seems to be at a constant.. Heres the 2 main flowering ladies for now.. Ill post pics of the others in a bit First pic is a group pic of the L.A(left) and WB(right), the rest consists mostly of the L.A(Purple pheno?) and a nice lil shot of some nugs im currently smokinn.. Locally grown by my friend, some G13 Gigabud Enjoy!
Uh oh Chocolope is now a confirmed male, and have isolated from the others, plan to collect its pollen. Any input on here?
The first time I started I just used a bunch of random ground up fruit and vegatables from my juicer. The leafs were just black (dark green) and you will never get that out of chemies....which I'm finding out right now. Not too thrilled, time to get back on the health wagon. Work out everyday and drink you juices!! LTO is the only way to go!
