Oregon newbie, card question

    so i got a call back from a clinic in portland yesterday. the guy said that they approved me and set up an appointment with the doctor for today and said to bring the money required to get a recommendation.

    so at this point, am i basically guaranteed a medical card? most places I've looked at in portland said you didn't have to pay for the doctors visit if they don't give you a recommendation, but this clinic wasn't specific about that. what do you guys think?

    dude get down to the clinic with the bucks! youre in! you need to jump a few hoops for 3-4 mos but you can be legal the day of the apptt. for possession and to begin the grow as long as you get the paperwork and check to the state and get a recieved notice back to yourself saying the state rec'd it. when it goes in the mail your good. only pending issues at the state are generally a recent weed history w/ police or the back-check on the grower and caregiver. its best to be your own caregiver and grower or you can get screwed out of most of your weed. id chhose to be my own. and be discreet for your own safety. a friend will tell two friends and so on and so on and so on. ive been in for one year and have 5 grows in a year in a 4x4 grow. its the bomb, dude! if your not too savvy with the grow thing hit me up for some tips. if your central ore i can mabey even find the clones for you. -D-

    so what part of ore are you in? if you went through mamas clinics then they have reviewed your med hist and if they thaught there was a problem they would not have approved you. things will be coming up roses and mj my friend! even though the laws allow for compensations from other patients and to grow for others i would avoid it. its a reason to be a suspect! be happy to have as much as you can smoke and dont mess w/ the trade. your homies wont like it, but they could risk your privelege. what if they find an occasional shut the hell up sack under the pillow, theres not a whole lot for them to bitch about. it's easy to misplace a bag when youve three-four times the amt to smoke. always best to be 100% legit and be a happy hippy and pain free! -D-

    haha yeahhh i got it, idk why i was trippin... I live in portland technically, but more in the beaverton area. i went to the medlar clinic in aloha and once i went in for my appointment they took care of everything and i just had to go down to the ommp state office in NE and they stamped my papers.

    new youd do it! congrats! keep it clean and follow the rules. you'll be glad you did. even though you may be exited, i'd talk to no-body about it as it sets up an unbelievable risk factor. folks been getting shot by pot robbers and shit! best of luck to ya! -D-
