I would like to get an idea on what kind of risk I'm taking, or any tips on a good supplier... When I used to do this it was from heaven's stairway (Hempqc.com Cannabis Seedbank) and all came from Canada... now it redirects to what I think is a dutch site and getting mail from Amsterdam might be a bit..obvious? I haven't done this since 2002, so guys, in little old ohio, what would you do?
I used attitude not too long ago. Came discreetly, in time, no hassle. Also, ordering seeds isn't illegal. It's the act of germination and having the plants. If they are assholes all they will do is confiscate the items and you will receive a letter in your package as to what happened to the delivery. If you're currently growing or plan to grow at your residence it's always good to have a PO box? Don't wanna ever risk your freedom by just being negligent.
well, that's 3 consecutive recommendations for attitude seedbank.. I've never seen such....harmony.. on the internet.lol Thanks guys! I know where my next batch is coming from!
FWIW: There was a discussion here a while back, and several people (don't remember who) said that it *IS* illegal to possess pot seeds in the U.S. If I remember correctly, they even quoted the law itself.
Hi joetokealot, First thing I'd do is read the stickies in the following forum: Cannabis Seeds Banks - Grasscity.com Forums And make your decision from there. Attitude has a good rep. which is well deserved, but you will pay a premium for that. There are a number of good seed banks & breeders out there who will take good care of you. Also a number of companies that will take good care of your money without delivering on their promise of taking good care of you. As for the safety factor I've only done five online orders so far without a problem. Most companies ship discretely with few problems. Check out their rep & get recommendations as you have with Attitude & you shouldn't be disappointed. Cheers
ah yes.. there's a name I remember well.. I believe he helped with my durban poison.. what ever happened with that guy?
He finally lost his battle, was extradited, and is currently serving a five year sentence in a US penitentiary for shipping seeds to the US...
sorry to hear it.. BTW, mind if I ask the origin of the Asimov quote you have as a sig? He was actually the first author I ever actually followed and looked for books from as a kid, I don't remember this one.. and by god, I've read every word
Worst that will happen is that customs seize your seeds and send you a 'love letter' asking if you want to fight it or not.
I ordered 10 seeds through peakseedsbc*** once. They came EXTREMELY discreetly. No worries there. The truth is, in the event that your parcel is intercepted...you just won't get it. You might get a letter saying it was held and to come pick it up (don't), or you may be asked to sign for it (don't). The more legit any parcel looks...such as correct, legible mailing adresses (preferably printed)...the more likely it is to be successfully delivered and received. ***actual order came with 12 texada skunk seeds (two freebies). They were not feminized. Total cost was $40 USD. I'd estimate 3/4 were females. So think of it as 8 female plants for $40. Not bad at all!!
