one of the best investments you can make. They are super nice, uses very little herb and the taste of the buds is UNREAL. i dont remeber the shipping time though
yea im looking forward to it. Does anyone know if Rick makes them to order. as in, will it be shipped out in a few days or in a few weeks once its made?
How do you ship and why is there no shipping charge? We ship all orders USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation. Shipping labels are made from the USPS website using the USPS database for delivery addresses. Shipping in the domestic US takes 2-3 days. We use different woods in Zaps and some wood species are heavier than others. Often the transformers from our supplier are different weights. We have decided to eliminate the shipping charge and quote a "total delivered price" to simplify the purchase for our customers and make our job easier. Another reason we do this is the small difference in cost to ship with our product line which is about $5 from the highest to the lowest shipping cost for Zap kits.
yea i already saw this on the site. My question was more do they build the zaps to order. So would it take the time to build then ship(2-3 days), which the answer is yes, I sent them an email. full turn around time is roughly a week and a half from order to build to ship to delivery. Thanks though
Yea i guess. Rick got back to me very quickly, a few hours. Ill def post a review. I hear nothing but good things and just couldnt find a excerp saying that theyre all made to order or if they have a "stock". Point being, theyre made to order
Apples and oranges. The Zap is a super efficient home vape and cannot be used when you're out and about. The LB is a stealthy portable that is specifically designed to be used when you're out and about.
Yup. I'm a vape Noob but here's how I see it. Zap: Takes about an hour to heat up, however you can leave it on 24/7 since its so lower powered and heat efficient. Because its such an efficient vape you can use VERY little herb for the same effect. Requires a outlet/car adapter while having that hour heat up, so not exactly portable. Side note: the craftmanship and betty of the wood it a art alone. I could see this as bro.g confused with an artpiece. Launch box: Super small, portal(runs on batteries), stealthy, and one of the more efficient "stealth" vapes. Big learning curve, but because its so portable that's seen kinda as a specific method of using this particular vape. Additionally its pretty labor intensive(compared to the zap) to pack and repack a bowl. In summary, apples and oranges lol. Two different vapes designed for different purposes and both "leaders" for their respective vape style.
There is no learning curve with the MFLB... Watch one youtube video about it and you'll be doing great your first time... I took the rubber piece out of the battery place so i don't have to constantly be pushing on it, i just click it in and leave it... But yeah, loading and unloading is a bitch.
well, not a bitch, but from what i understand, you have to lift the case, clean it out and ive heard it takes some effort to clean/repack. Ive never seen one being used or anything, that just what ive kinda gathered. the labor instensive part was more in direct comparison to the zap, where it a tube you put the herb in, stick it on, vape, and clear like you would a chillum etc. repack as neccisary. Was I misinformed?
It's just that I've never heard that packing and repacking a Box is any more labor intensive than packing and unpacking any other kind vape. I have a Purple Days that I've been using for over 3 years. It's my daily driver, but, in my opinion, it's not any easier or more labor intensive to load and unload than any other vape.
I have had my myrtle zap for a little over a year now and absolutely love it. Its crazy efficient and I save tons of money on bud. Now everyone jokes about how slowly I go through bud. It took around five days for my zap to ship. I also got one of those long glass stems from the zap shop and love it. I got I 14mm HVY mini straight tube with a defused down stem as a gift and my zap stem fits perfect in it and I can vape through it which is awesome. Heres a pic of my zap:
What makes it a bitch is the fact that the bud has to be like powdery and the trench needs to be maintained well and the whole screen for the trench is very fragile... and it's very light so mine has been knocked over many times... with no damage but the bud has spilled out once and that's a bitch when its like powder. it really isn't any harder than any other vape.
