  2. That's epic :D ! I'm going to order one next month hehe (unless there's a nice piece up at Alt for about the same price)..

Have fun with that thing  !

  3. Yeah, as long as you don't mind not getting a factory warranty and with as much glass and moving parts and digital displays as the EQ has, that factory warranty, imho, is pretty damn important.

    Great vape though. Congrats.

  4. Awesome vape, I have one and haven't regretted anything about it. I use it everyday and it suits me just perfect! Enjoy it!

  5. I got mine from ebay and it came with a warranty. The guy was a certified seller, and I verified with the Arizer guys via email. They said as long as I have the "receipt" (I guess just print my ebay purchase?) from the seller, then they'll honor it.

I realize that the majority sellers aren't certified, so overall lwien is right - most Q's bought on ebay wont be backed with the fully warranty.

Either way, awesome vape. You'll love it!

  6. Ah, ok. Good to know that "some" on ebay are authorized. So...........word to the wise. Check with Arizer before making a purchase.

    Appreciate the correction, Spikey.

  7. ya it got a 3 year warranty on the glass pieces which doesnt include the glass pieces but honestly if it covers any of the other shit we got i dont really care lol all we want is the vap!

  8. Yo guys, just was wake n bakin and was cruisin through the new post and actually just came across this same problem when I wanted to buy my extreme q from someone else other than Azier. I have the solution to this problem. On amazon there is a seller E-Vapor, who I just ordered my own extreme q from just yesterday. I'll actually post the email conversation so you guys can see how awesome this seller is:

    Me:
Hey I'm interested in ordering your Extreme Q vaporizer, listing ASIN: B00420WDHC. I was just wondering if you were an authorized dealer of this product? I was told that some distributors do not have the qualifications as defined by Arizer to give out the warranty. I was wondering if you have had contact with the company regarding this topic? Also, the listing states that a free space case is included, is that a four piece or two piece? And what size space case?

    E-Vapor:
    Hi Tim,

You have hit on a hot topic! ...and a very confusing and ever changing topic! :)

We have found that in the end, the only way to really guarantee warranty coverage is to buy directly through Arizer for their MSRP of $299, any purchase price lower is considered not eligible for warranty coverage, no matter who it is purchased from.

Arizer sells directly to resellers and then when their customers go to initiate a warranty claim, all of a sudden, that reseller is not authorized. We always got mixed messages when we asked Arizer if we were an authorized dealer because one month we were and the next month we weren't. It was not fair to our customers, so now we honor our customers warranty claims ourselves. It makes it a more pleasant experience for our customers. We have also found that most problems/faulty units are found out within the first few weeks. If that is the case, we will just swap out a new one with our customers.

If you want to "guarantee" warranty coverage through Arizer, I would recommend purchasing directly through Arizer for $299.

The space case that we include is a small 2 pc (appx 2" diameter)

These vape are really nice, we use one ourselves and love it.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Cheers,

So here ya go, cheaper price, and the warranty.

Also, this seller was great, super fast responses, and threw in a four piece titanium space case for 40 extra bucks, not a bad deal.

P.s. My extreme q comes tuesday!

  9. Well if these dudes are right I might be wrong. The guy does mention this topic as "ever-changing", so I guess Arizer has changed their minds a few times? Like I said I bought mine last year (Jan '10), and at that time, they definitely said they'd honor the warranty. Let me see if I still have the emails from them/the sellers info.

This is a big deal, so I want to be sure we're all on the same page.

  10. Alright, just found my emails. Here we go:

    ME:
My name is ********** and I recently purchased the new extreme-q vaporizer on ebay, brand new in box. I was wondering if it would still have the warranty since its brand new and hasn't been opened. I want to be sure and take advantage of the warranty if I can!

    Thanks for your time

    THEM:
    Hi ******,

Yes your machine would have a warranty (keep dated proof of purchase for any warranty work), has something happen to it.

If I can be of further assistance please let me know.

    Best Regards
    Debbie

So maybe it has changed? Hopefully since I have proof that they said they would cover it, they might possibly still?

Either way nothing has happened yet, so hopefully I never have to even worry about the warranty...

    P.S.
To be sure we should probably email Arizer directly. Although the other sellers probably know, only Arizer has the final word.

  11. Ya I guess the best thing to do is email Arizer, hope for a good response, then save the email!
