Where i work be recieve boxs of Sunkist california oranges. But upon closer inspection today i noticed the words. Distributed by Sunkist. Also the boxs are plastered in chinese writing and have weird company names. Does this mean they are grown in china and imported through California and are just picking up the sunkist name as a importer. And i must add these are not cases the general public may buy. they are shipping containers. So are our "california" oranges really an import from countries with looser health standards? Another thing to add is these are bulk oranges but are not intended for manufacturing juice. they are meant for the consumer.
not a conspiracy theory. Its not uncommon for companies to do such a thing tho. Maybe ill snap a pic tomorrow with my phone
I dont know much information about this but I never realized how good California oranges are until I tried some from out of state. Califonia oranges are dankkk
