Orange and White stuff on my soil..... Is this a fungi??

  1. Does anyone know what this is and if it's related to the other picture with the leaves with the spots on them.

I did research and so far I've come to the opinion that it's Botrytis but I'm not 100% on this.

I've also felt that this could be due to over watering, because I'm using Blumat Auto-watering system.

And another theory; I have a dog who pees inside the house once in a while and I'm sure the pee has seeped thru the ceiling.

But after all this, I'm here asking your opinion it any other insight into this.

  2. Could be a mix of overwatering and or humidity levels. What is your humidity at? Seems to be some type of fungi. Im not sure if it is Botrytis as I have seen that mainly as bud rot but i am not fully sure. Are the white spots hairy?

  3. looks like some sort of mold or algi ..try and scrape it off the top of the soil if you can,,mac.

  4. I KNOW that I'll be dead-wrong, but it looks *to me* as though something was spilled on it.
What was poured into that plant?
