  1. I've read optimal ph level is 6.2 however my harvests have always ph less then that any idea in discrepancy ..? What is the ideal ph and why is it different then what I have read..?

  2. So the medium you're growing in will effect what is the best Ph level.

Here are some photos that show the nutrient uptake at different Ph levels based on soil or soilless. You'll see that the roots can only effectively take in certain nutrients at certain Ph levels.

For hydro or soilless grows I've found 5.8 seems to be the sweet spot among different growers. I always shoot for 5.7-6.2.

I'm sure differing strains prefer slightly different levels, though.
