I am building an aeroponics system similar to the aerospring system found on http://www.futuregarden.com/hydroponics/systems_aerospring.html. I was wondering if i can use a 3" net pot to grow a 2-3 foot plant? Thanks guys
i would try to use a bigger one like 5'' cause the bigger the pot, the bigger the roots, the more support.
I realize this is well over a year after the original post but... I am growing in 3" net pots in my Aerospring. My plants are 30+" tall in veg and are very stable with thick stems and sturdy root systems. Bloom time may change that though as the plants start to become more top heavy with the weight of the buds. If that turns out to be the case I'll just bring a string down to each plants stem from above and tie it on to hold the stems upright until harvest.
three " potts r alright heres a good site about aeroponics http://www.cannabisculture.com/articles/1378.html
future garden rocks by the way, I was lucky enough to take the long trip to their showroom... it was crazy, they even had something like an omega garden hooked up in the back.
