Optic 8+ grow journal

This is my first led grow journal.using coast of Maine super soil,optic 8+,5x5 tent.honestly just posting all this to keep track of progress..trying to go for an easy grow that isn’t to technical.lets see how this goes

 

The beginning.so I usually would of just j
Used my t5 to veg but I got the optic 8+ In an just had to try it out..yep burnt the plants alittle from light being to close.moved it up to 30’ an turned it down to 55 veg 20 bloom

 

They are doin much better now.light green is goin away.bigger plants are less than two weeks from seed an smaller ones are less than a week.all bag seeds.most likely cookies or gorilla glued but who knows..I’m using peat pots cause the person watering these tends to over water so hopefully they will dry out faster.

 

Quick check on them today an found this mutant leaf..I don’t know what it is but I have always been draw to plants with mutations hopefully it is a female.if not what ever.trying to end up with 5 females.if I don’t get five I will most likely pick the best female then clone her five times an kill the rest off.illinois only has a 5 plant count fml but atleast they let us grow something.ill be back on in a week to show some progress.right now I’m currently setting up my second grow in my basement pretty much the same.i will be starting that journal very soon with seeds I have bought.

So it’s about 2 1/2 weeks on bigger ones an almost 2 weeks on little ones.took them out those little pots an put them in bigger ones with some super soil.dropped plants down lower and turned up everything alittle.this grow would be so much easier if I was doin it around me but I’m not an only check on it every few days.also noticed some fruit flies on the soil fml.(cause the soil was inside the house .so I have lady bugs and hepa filters on the way).honestly only looking for one female out this.gonna clone it an get my 5 female plants that way.also mutant plant I like is growing like shit..on bright side temps inside tent are better than I expected with these cold ass nights.next Friday I will do another update an see if these plants like the little super soil added in these bigger pots.now time to go pop some beans for grow two at my place..showed be easier cause I will have more control over everything...

 

Also realized the power outage the other day has tripped my damn timer to on an not timer‍♂️Who knows how long that has happened

 

So far looks like they plants are loving the coast of Maine soil..all discoloration is gone.have a few flies cause I left the soil in the house.fml lady bugs are on the way.have topped an tied down a few just to see what happens.the Sativa looking plant that looked horrible is starting to liven up.only watering every two to three days or when ever soil seems to dry out.

 

Quick update cause new phresh intake came in so I had to throw it on.

 

Plants are looking good.except for that little thin leaves one.probably gonna pull it soon.Either way plants are loving it.just waiting for them to show sex before I put them in bigger pots an flower

 

So I decided to turn the light all the way up today.plants have been loving it.i think the bigger ones are a month an smaller ones are 3 weeks.

So today I swapped to 2 gallon pots.roots are popping out of the containers.did alittle tie down on biggest plants.just waiting for sex to show now ..figure another 2 weeks..

So everything is getting really big.two are starting to show some sort of sex..most likely males.one of them is still not happy seems to be cause of the root bound from last pots.whatever I only need 5 females out this.

Three plants look to be female so I potted them in 7 gallon pots.tomorrow I will go an see about potting the rest.
