Got my new comp and it came with windows 7. Good program EXCEPT. Its much more confusing and it fucks up installing older games like call of duty 2 and quake 4 and shit and warcraft 3. Its fucking ridiculous. I'm bout to go back to vista or something man seriously. The only problem is, is my comp has 8gb of memory so I need an OS that will recognize that instead of half of it you know. Should I get vista pro? My friend can get if for me for free.
usually 32bit windows operating systems only recognize 4gb of memory and the 64bit version will see 8gb+
I don't know what you are doing wrong, but I have CoD2 on my Windows 7 computer right now, and I play it all the time. When does it crash? During install? When you start the game? Have you set the compatibility settings as well?
