  1. A few buddies of mine(one originally from Ontario) and I are heading to Ontario,Canada (and toronto for a few days) in late June and i was wondering if any of you guys have experiance with this province and the availability of bud, the nightlife, or anything you might just recommend us check out. If you do please let me know. Thanks

  2. i was born in and currently live in toronto and i love it

i recommend that you stay in the downtown area, as you will be within walking distance of almost everything and it will save you cash in transportation. toronto is a very multi cultural city that has a lot to offer in terms of night life, restaurants, and shopping.

you will be here in july which is one of the best times to be here. on the more touristy side of things going up the cn tower is always very nice - the view is amazing and the glass floor is pretty cool. if you like baseball you can catch a jay's game at the rogers centre [formerly skydome] right beside the cn tower - i believe there are usually always people selling tickets nearby and they're not hard to get.

for shopping you can go to yonge and dundas to the eaton centre - it's a decent sized shopping mall that is a regular spot for locals and tourists. if you walk north on yonge st., up to bloor you will find a variety of stores and shops, if you're looking for a strip joint - start at yonge st. and dundas st. and make your way north; this where you will find a few.
for more high end shops like louis vuitton and armani go west on bloor st. from yonge st.
if you go east on bloor to church you will find yourself at the very top of our gay community, walk south on church to wellesley and you'll find yourself right in the heart of the gaybourhood.
for trendy shops and restaurants go to queen st. west
if you want to try some international cuisine toronto has many different neighbourhoods. danforth ave. will offer a variety of greek cuisine, china town is located at dundas and spadina. for a taste of italian and portugueses cuisine take a stroll down college st., you will also find a variety of bars and lounges on college st.

the toronto islands are very nice as well, a short ferry ride at the bottom of bay st. at front st. will take you to the islands where you can walk, bike, rollerblade or just enjoy a day in the sun.

in terms of nightlife, it all depends what you're into but we have a variety of clubs in the entertainment district. take a stroll down richmond, adelaide, peter, john, and duncan streets and just ask the doorman what's going on that night and how much cover charge is.

as for finding greens, i can't help you out but we do have a couple of head shops that i would recommend going to and just asking if they can guide you in the right direction.

  9. not sure about that. from what i understand as long as they are obviously brand new and never been used there shouldn't be a problem... but american customs are TOUGH and scary as hell, so i would maybe try doing a search online to see what you can find with regards to this
