So the other day I was hanging out at a buddies house, and I decided I was going to roll a penor for later. (penor is slang for a small joint from where I'm from.) anyways, I announce to my buddy that I need his tray and a paper, and he says "let me roll it man, I roll better anyways. ' no, you fucking don't lol. Keep in mind, I've been smoke 6-7 years, and I introduced this kid to ganja, so him saying that was sort of a challenge. So I roll up a nice little doobster, and it was the best penmanship I've ever had, but I knew it was gonna burn perfectly. So he pulls out his herb and rolls one too, except his is like as solid as a carrot. When we show the joints to a third friend, he said my buddies was better. Now, I like joints in general, but I don't like them rolled too tightly, especially if I'm smoking dank because it makes the smoke too thick and it can be hard to get a hit when the joint becomes a Roach. Also, because the smoke is so thick it's harsh and it's harder for me to be able to appreciate the taste as much. So, my question is, do you prefer tightly rolled joints, or relaxed ones? TL;DR = do you like joints super tight, or relaxed?

penor hahaha I bet that wasn't the only penor you smoked that day, eh? jk but it's really personal preference. I don't roll joints that often so if I can get something that burns even-ishly and doesn't burn out a bunch I am happy. I would say I like when the joints is somewhat tightly packed so it burns nice n slow.

I think you got your shit mixed up lol A looser joint will burn faster, harsher and quicker because of airflow. You'll get lighter airier hits and the doobie will burn slower if it's the right tightness. There is such a thing as to tight though.
I can't roll joints for the life of me. For about 8-9 years now I have had slight tremors in my hands which doesn't allow me to hold them perfectly still when holding them up no matter how much I try. I mean, I can roll a joint but I have lots of weed fall out the side and I have to repack it afterwards. If I do plan on smoking rolled weed i'll either have a friend roll me up a bunch or use my cheap auto roller. But yeah my hand rolled joints are loose unless I stuff them afterwards I just cannot manage to do the proper tuck. Been smoking for longer than I had the tremors.
Super tight isn't always the best way. The way you can tell if it's too tight or just right is by inhaling through it before you light It. Good airflow but tightly packed = excellent. Tightly packed but NO airflow = have fun trying to smoke that. Good airflow but very loose = it'll burn fast and uneven.
Before i twist the top of my j's i'll take a drag to see how the airflow is. I roll mine fairly tight, but my airflow is alwaaaays fine
