    Say the cop's find 2-3 plants in a field in 7 gallon buckets. Would they just destroy them and through away the bucket's or would they destroy the plants then check the bucket for fingerprints?

    I'm not really concerned about getting caught, but I just want to know everything before I decide to grow outdoors.

    They have much better things to spend their money on then check for fingerprints, If they find them and your not around your pretty much in the clear man.
    I got a few ripped before but i didn't know if it was the police or just another stoner.

    They would just destroy them or bring them home but definatly not check for finger prints it would be way too costly and they only usually do that for murder or serious crimes of that nature,its would simply be too costly trust me its a really common misconception that police always check for finger prints,was probably brought on by CSI

    No they wont look for fingerprints if its just the cops but they will be watching that area for the next couple days to see if the grower returns. The only people I would see that would look for fingerprints would be the DEA and chances are they would not because its only a few plants and not a forest

    They'll watch the field, sometimes via video, and once they identify you they might put you on surveillance to identify all your contacts, figure out if you deal, possibly try to make you an informant. In any event, an ambitious cop is going to try to find a way to bust as many or as big as he can.

    But if he tokes, he's just as likely to strip it bare and walk away.

    Lol, the chances of a cop that finds plants actually reporting it is slim. But if they do report it, they most likely wont check it for prints. I grew 3 in a field last year, with out an issue, just try to hide them good, with lots of sunlight.

    just remember OP, if your plants are gone, and there is a note telling you to call a random number to get them back, do not call.. even if they only want $200 dollars to get your plants back..

    OMG is everyone f ing tarded? ok lets assume that it was found in ur house. u r f ed. however if you knew it was gonna be outside tell me how much latex gloves cost? Know your laws and statutes before you do somthing stupid. Unless one is the type of person who would just rob a bank without planning it out. cover your ass cuz if you dont someone else will be covering it in prison.

    In all seriousness, one could argue in court that the findings were obsolete probably due to if the pots were handled by another person say at the store where you got them. But if they really want to get you, they probably will do and or say anything to do so. On the flip side i have seen the MSNBC special on ganj and they just packed up and trashed it. They busted a dude in florida and he had two plants and i think he got off easy cuz he did not have intent to sell, however he did manufacture so that makes him liable. Either way it should be legalized and taxed. If legalized dealers would have no way to compete with govt pricing and if taxed we could generate enough money to all be drivin lambo's. Although every now and then you see a wannabe gangsta high and shootin or somethin dumb on tv giving tree a bad name.

    TBH dude - I wouldent put it past FL cops to make mountain out of 2 plants. Your best bet is to play it safe. Wear gloves or wrap your fingertips in tape, if you're that worried about it. Though the fact that they are out in the open can work in your favor.
    One more thing, unless you've been arrested and printed - they won't know who you are anyway:D

    I have had 50k or more in plants seized and am still here typing.. my finger prints are not on any file though but they just rip and move on you will be fine with 7lol
