One's own bong appreciation thread

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Smegman., Sep 12, 2011.

  1. This is to appreciate your own bong, share what you like about it.
    Funny times involving it.
The story of how you got it or named it etc.

I just got a new GonG today and made a sploof just now and am finally able to have cones at my desk.
I owned other bongs but I hadn't owned one between now and when I had a massive t break so yeah that's why it's cool.

  2. I go through so many tubes it's not funny...
Right now it's a 7 arm sheldon black 15" with a soveighnty gridded downstem. Tube purchased from DOCS in baltimore, stem from Capitol Hemp in DC (dupont location, my fave shop on east coast)

really love it. Small, lots of diffusion, sturdy as can be. My only gripe is that the red part of the Sheldon label faded a bit when I got some grunge off on it.

As for slides, when smoking herb it's always a TORO ice pinch... i kind of collect them, have probably 4 different models. For hash i'll pick from the collection of single-holed slides and throw a screen in it. Don't have any oil smoking rig for it at the moment.

Mostly just call it sheldon. Don't name my peices so much. I have a pipe i call bubba because it was blown by a guy named Clem, from clem came bubba clem, then just bubba. It's a really sick spoon, i've decided it's the absolute perfect shape for a spoon to be, plus it's made magnificently well (i accidently got out of a car while it was on my lap once and it skidded a good 15 feet across blacktop without a scratch) Lots of cool work, definitely my favorite peice of all time, will be sad to see it go.
