so i germinized my seeds about 5 days ago,i planted one of them that sprouted last night,ive kept the light on for 24 hours.i think im going to keep doing this for about 3-5 more days then,when itsbreaks the soil more,ill switch it to 16/8.i hope everything works out
its just some really good shwag i came across awhile ago.its planted in a somewhat small pot and is in a somewhat small closet.im using a grow bulb that produces alot of heat and light.inside the closet its nice and toasty warm,i think perfect temp for my grow.i thought since im low on cash,id just buy a basic growlight and keep the plant in a somewhat small and contained place,that way,heat builds up for a nice envirnment,and the light will go to the plant alot easier in a smaller space.
Hey what's up. Your bulb there...it isn't a standard household incandescent bulb is it? Cuz if it is it's no good, even for your small grow. At least go out and spend a couple bucks (literally no more than $5) on a compact fluorescent bulb (the swirly tube ones), preferably the daylight flavor cuz that color temp of 6500k is what they like. The more light the better. Good luck!
Yeah man, I got a pack of 8 for $10, but lilwyte you need to read around these boards a little more, heat is your enemy (besides in the first week or two when its good for seedlings).
The best temp is 75-78 with good airflow So keep a cracked door or hope you have vents....good luck Have any pics?
