So I wake up and check the girls this morning and what do I see? Two different sets of leaves coming from the same cup. Now I'm just wondering what kind of problem I'm in for and if this is normal?
May just be a mutant baby and split itself. I wouldnt worry about it and just do everything normal as you would. Cant wait to see it later in life !
Yeah I may try and grow it out but if one starts to show signs of slowing down or deformity might pull it so it's not pulling anything from the healthy one (if there is one) but so far they both look like they're developing fine. Both sets of cotyledons look normal and I can see two small leaves. Guess we shall see!
I can't wait to see how this one grows! Never seen or even heard of anything like this... Btw your sig is awesome, Friday is a classic.
Dude no shit I was reading day before yesterday on here and saw where someone was talking about this and I was like he's full of shit and what ya know. I'm not expecting anything great.. I'll just grow it and see what happens... And Friday is probably in my top 5 favorite movies. Laugh my ass off through the whole thing
Girls seem to be doing alright. Ones a little smaller than the other but seem to be growing by the minute. I first barely noticed what I thought was one seedling making its way through the ground this morning around 6 o'clock. Just took this pic a bit ago
That is just so bizarre man, you're lucky to have such a plant!
I dunno man... For some reason I don't see it ending well lol. May give em some time to grow and see how it does and if one seems to be slowin down or deformed pull it.
I dono if you wanna risk it, but you may even be able to just get some cheap rooting power or gel, and carefully snip one of the plants real low to the soil, and transplant it. That's a way out there idea, but it might work if ya let them get a little older before hand.
Yeah, we'll to say the least this has been an interesting first grow lol. Oh well id rather get the problems out of the way first. Plus it's made me learn so much more with my first seedling having as many problems as its had. I'm not giving up till I am packing a fresh bowl of stuff I've grown though! Lol. Here's a pic of my super stressed pineapple express. I had to cut the first two sets of leaves as well as cotyledons. Hoping it pulls through because I'm sort of attached to it lol.
My grandpa got a medical card because he was diagnosed with cancer a while back, and I'm growing PineappleKush, BlueberryHaze, and MasterKush with him I have a thread for the oldest PineappleKush we have if ya wanna check it out :b (I've only grown three times, and my grandpa has never even taken a single hit, so in my thread I kinda play dumb most of the time, so I can get better info for myself and my grandpa lol)
Looks funky man! My buddy had this happen to a seedlings a few weeks ago. He left it alone and the mutant plant died off on its own. I'm pretty sure the "plant" lived through it and is now a healthy vigorous mother plant
Optimism man, optimism! Just tell those girls (and yourself) that they will grow up to be the dankest ever!
Girls are lookin deformed... Nothing is growing out evenly.. They are showing some purple stems and a little bit on the edges but it's not due to it being cold. Any ideas? Still gonna grow em out a bit and see what happens but think I'm gonna throw some more seeds in to germ
