This is truly inspiring. I didn't know a guitar had this much musical capability. Music never ceases to amaze me. Enjoy guys. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDFP_MbvyGc]YouTube - Stefano Barone - Batman - Alexander Supertramp[/ame]
Reminds me of August Rush. Good stuff for sure! [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sN0c_egqXAM"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sN0c_egqXAM[/ame] (edited to add vid)
100 bucks for anybody who wants to play him in guitar hero. But no this is true talent right here. Good Vid.
True! I ended up YouTubing some more of his stuff and was quite impressed. Then I got sucked into youtube, a few hours later I finally broke away from all of the vids.
True! I ended up reading a post on Grasscity and was quite impressed. Then I got sucked into Grasscity, and a few hundred posts later I broke away from all of the threads.

I love when people do crazy shit like that with acoustics, really makes me want to pick up the guitar.
Half the reason I've been picking it up again. I got tired of so many power chords and bland progressions. This slap stuff is awesome, though I doubt I'll ever be that good.
slap? do ya mean hammering? either way ya its sick. after i listened to that i grabbed my djembes and played along, nice little jam
It's the same basic concept but to a different level than a hammer-on. Definitely brings a different vibe to the acoustic. Seems like the key is a delay pedal or a loop pedal of some sort. An old friend of mine would play Ghost by Howie Day with his delay and loop pedals and it was sick
