Hey GC, THIS IS IT! I quit smoking cold turkey 37 days ago in anticipation of getting a job interview, subsequently getting the job, and then subsequently getting a drug test. Well, I got the job and the drug test is tomorrow. Here's my final question: can they under any circumstance call me back in to retake the test? Like, for example, if something seems fishy? Or will they treat any "fishiness" as a positive? I'd really like to smoke a victory blunt on the drive home. I don't feel like wasting my whole Thanksgiving break (when all my buddies come back to town) while waiting for the results. Thanks in advance.
That depends. If its watered down they label it inconclusive and might make u take another. If they detect that u used something to flush ur system ( golden seal, etc) ur screwed. Thats just from my exprience.
That's a very common mistake and a good question. Don't smoke on the way home, make sure its a negative result. I've been called back 2 days later to piss again because someone lost the sample or other various reasons. You've waited over a month, hold out for a couple more days and make it a sure thing.
Damn it. Thanks guys. I guess I'll wait it out... If the test is tomorrow, can I safely assume I'm clear by the weekend? I need to be in the office to train on 12/1 so I can't imagine the actual testing of my sample will be done any time after Friday...
I mean it's really hard to tell, but you should be fine. If it were me, I'd just wait til either i got there or the day before I started working. If you need this job, its not worth losing it over one time getting high. nah mean?
